Rick Bynum was awarded the 2006 Presidential Citation by the South Carolina Chapter of the AIA. Pictured with Rick is Sam Herrin, immediate past President of SCAIA. The award was given at the AIASC Spring Conference in Wild Dunes.

March, 2008
For the fourth year in a row, Rick Bynum's cartoons on architecture, "Archi-toons" will be featured in the annual South Carolina  Architecture Handbook published by the AIA.

Rick Bynum was the Keynote Speaker at the 2005 AIA Atlanta Design Awards.

February, 2006
Rick Bynum shot an episode of Modern Marvels for the History Channel. The show is a 60 minute documentary on Insulation and is currently in syndication.

John Bryan
Rick Bynum presented  a lecture, The Humor of Architecture, at the first Charleston Expo in 2003.  He is shown with John Bryan, author of "Architectural Practice, The History of the SCAIA."

Lamar T. Webb
